√ The church of the ascension of our Holy Lady
According to the period characteristics, this Temple belongs to the Morava School. It was probably built in the period between 1430 and 1456 and is considered to be one of the most beautiful monuments from the late period of the Despot reign.
The church has the base of the contracted trichinosis and was made of semi-trimmed stone and brick. It is a one-nave structure with slender proportions, topped by an elegant octagonal cupola supported on the pilasters.
√ The Saint George temple
The temple was erected in 1854 according to the project of Andreja Damjanov, one of the most recognised masters of that period. The church has the base of the inscribed cross. It has three naves and belongs to the type of five-domed temples. It has monumental proportions and architectural form, made according to the model of the Manasija Monastery. This church represents the turning point in the Serbian sacral architecture on the way of new national style creation.
√ The Grammar school of Smederevo
The building of the Grammar School was built in 1904 according to the sketches of the famous Belgrade architect Milorad Ruvidic. The School got its present appearance in 1933/34 when it was enlarged and adapted. It represents the reflection of the architectural trends in Central Europe and for decades it has been a model for many similar institutions in Serbia.
√ The building of the District court in Smederevo
This structure has been built according to the design of the famous architect Aleksandar Bugarski (The Old Palace and the National Theater in Belgrade) and represents one of his very important achievements. It was built in the period from 1886 to 1888 in the style of the classical symmetrical composition. Representative and luxurious facade architecture is shaped in the style of academism with the period adaptation and elements of Neo-renaissance and classicism.
√ The Ex-town Hall
The construction was built in 1928. according to the design of the famous architect Nikola Krasnov. The highly decorative architecture breathes out the spirit of eclecticism of the 20's of the last century. The main entrance of the building is prominent and marked with four tall, antically draped sculptures. They are placed on the balustrade and axially follow the pattern of pilasters representing the personification of Justice, Work, Science and Culture.
√ The Obrenovic villa
It is located at Plavinac, the hill near Smederevo. Its construction began in 1831 when the Duke Milos Obrenovic built the first house in his vineyard. It was a small structure with the cellar and a shelter, surrounded by vineyards. It was later enlarged and in 1897. it got its present appearance of a representative villa with luxurious architecture and richly decorated facade. These structural interventions were made according to the project of the famous Belgrade architect Jovan Ilkic.
