66th City Council Session was held


On Saturday, 13 March 2010th year, was held on 66th the session of Smederevo. The agenda of this meeting were: minutes of 64th and 65 telephone meeting, opinions and suggestions of working bodies of the agenda for the 21st amendment session of the City of Smederevo scheduled for 15 mart 2010th year, amendments made to the draft decision on taxi transport and local municipal taxes, the draft decision on calling a referendum on the territory of the town of Smederevo on the construction of refinery processing crude oil in Smederevo and Education Commission for the implementation of the referendum, as well as current issues.

Press conference after finishing 66th session, held the mayor Predrag Umićević. The decision on taxi transport adopted three amendments relating qualitative supplement to this decision. Adopted the amendment to increase the amount of municipal taxes allowing additional filling of the budget of Smederevo. Draft Decision on the referendum was rejected by two votes for and seven votes against, and therefore the proposal of the Education Commission. As an additional point discussed was the proposal of decision on appointment of members of the school board PS "Sveti Sava" in Smederevo, which was the point included in the material for the meeting in order not to happened to be in the school by the Ministry of Culture and Education, introduced a temporary authority.

"This session of the City Council was necessary for technical needs for monitoring the same session of the Assembly, which will be held on Monday, March 15" - said Umićević. Mayor Smederevo and said that all coalition members agreed with the points dnevog row since their adoption is necessary for normal functioning of the city. The agreement was reached in the paragraph that does not allow the introduction of temporary authority, or not to go to the polls, but the ability to maintain stable functioning of the coalition majority.
